Sorare registration error number 1: Do not go through a referral link.
Indeed, it is essential to go through a referral link to win a limited card after 5 winning bids! How (well) to place your first bids? Answer in this article ! Attention, if you do not use a link, you are not entitled to any card offered. It would be a shame to miss it, knowing that some limited cards have good values (some exceed €1000)! Many players wanted to register without a link and are still biting their fingers!
Sorare registration error number 2: Randomly choose the 3 favorite teams.
When you register, you will be asked for your 3 favorite teams! The choice of teams will determine the « common » cards you will receive! So we put the heart aside (especially if you are a supporter of a small club or a club that is not in the game) and we choose teams with high-performance players. We will give priority to:
- clubs that dominate their leagues; example: Bayern, Ajax, Porto
- clubs that have matches in the coming weeks; it is essential to anticipate and observe the schedule for the coming weeks. An article is available on the key role of anticipation in Sorare .
- clubs in various championships: we invite you to choose 3 championships
- clubs whose championships are under Sorare licence: the list is available here . Avoid choosing a club (for now) like Shakhtar (useful only in the Champions League).
Proposal: Bayern (dominant club, top goalkeeper), Real Madrid (dominant club in its league) and Velez (Argentine club with lots of super talents!)
Sorare registration error number 3: make the first 5 auctions as quickly as possible (primary market).
STOP, we’ll stop you right away, it’s not a speed race and making 5 small quick bids is not the best solution, far from it! Indeed, we have noticed that the value of the card offered depends on the total value of the auctions carried out. Note that this has been verified in a majority of cases, but not in all. We invite you to take the time necessary to recruit 5 players who will be useful to your team and your strategy.
